Yellows get three points at South Park.
Second league win for Dan Huxley's team away from home.
'The Yellows' travelled down to South Park on Saturday to try to get 3 points from the host's with whom they drew 2-2 at The Orchard earlier in the season.
The visitors dominated the 1st half and once again were guilty of not taking their chances with only Ashley Williams scoring on 33 minutes to give 'The Yellows' a slim 1-0 lead.
As the visitors tired in the second half South Park came back into the game and only keeper Sam Freeman with several superb saves kept 'The Yellows 'ahead.
However half way through the second half the hosts were awarded a penalty for hand ball but failed to equalise from the spot. This proved to be a turning point.
Centre forward Charlie Gee sealed the win scoring on 84 minutes to give The Yellows a much needed boost with some challenging fixtures coming up. Final score 0-2.
A special mention for right back Dean Macklin for his defensive qualities when The Yellows had to defend in earnest in the second-half.
A good three points away from home for the lads who after a mid-week cup game v Broadfields Utd away, face neighbours FC Deportivo GalicIa whom they lost to 2-1 a month or so ago, in an important league game at The Orchard on Saturday 2nd December KO at 3.00pm. As manager Dan Huxley said after the game there is still a long way to go but at last we are beginning to look like a team.
Well done lads!
