Another heavy defeat for The Yellows.
Frimley Green hit four after another poor defensive display from 'The Yellows' dumps them at the foot of Div 1 Combined Counties League.
After two heavy losses to Cobham and Eversley & California at The Orchard, The Yellows travelled down to Frimley who are managed by old Yellow's manager John Cook, to try to get their first points of the season. Starting with three new additions to the squad they were hopeful of getting something out of this game.
However 15 minutes into the game there was 'typical this season' defensive lapse when Frimley opened the score through James Baxter. 1-0.
Four minutes later Ben Dearlove struck for the home side to increase their lead to two.2-0.
Once again although having plenty of possession, The Yellows failed to make any progress against a lively Frimley team martialled at the back by ex Bedfont & Feltham skipper Jim Ward. Just as The Yellows were starting to get back into the game they conceded a penalty on 40 minutes which Sam Hamer blasted home from the spot to go into half time 3-0 up. It could have been more but for some poor finishing and excellent point-blank saves from Yellows keeper Dieumanis Gossenma.
The second half was much better for the visitors but they did not force the home keeper into making any sort of save whilst Yellows keeper Gossenma was forced to pull of several saves including a couple at short range. There was still another goal for the home side however when following another mix-up on 85 minutes full back John Jupp took advantage to add Frimley's fourth. Final score 4-0.
With Staines Lammas coming to the Orchard on Bank Holiday Monday 'The Yellows 'have to tighten their leaky defence and start scoring to get their season off the ground.
