Bedfont and Feltham suffer another heavy defeat at The Orchard.
Hoping to improve on their bad start to the season ,on Saturday The Yellows entertained Eversley&California FC who had maximum points from the two matches they had played so far.
Unfortunately the defensive errors that have plagued the home side this season so far led to Eversley taking the lead on 33 minutes when Alan Reid headed home from a free-kick with no challenge being made by the home defenders. 0-1.
The Yellows did settle down and played some nice possession football but there was always a risk that the lively visitors forwards could spring the offside trap and add to their score.
However it was The Yellows who provided a lift to the home supporters, when on the stroke of half-time Byron Douglas-Letts latched on to a through ball from prominent mid-fielder Nanna Benson and rounded Eversley keeper Danny Leeds to fire home the equaliser.
Half time 1-1.
With spirits lifted it was hoped that perhaps the tide had turned and things were going to get better but within two minutes of the restart following a home free-kick, the visitors broke away and Adam Amiable scored to restore their lead. 1-2. On 59 minutes the same player added his second and took the game away from the home side.
Several substitutions took place for the home side and similarly to their last game against Cobham heads went down and an own goal on 76 minutes was followed by Cameron Miller netting for the visitors on 82 minutes to take the score to 1-5.
Just to add to their woes sub Samet Oktay came on for The Yellows in the 84th minute and was promptly sent off a minute later for ungentlemanly conduct.
Another poor performance and with games coming up fast and furious The Yellows need to put their defensive failings right as soon as possible.
Final Score 1-5.
A big thank you to our supporters for their support.
On Saturday The Yellows travel down to Frimley Green FC
